| So what type of senior portrait do you want - a cookie-cutter shot from the photographer at your high school -(Yeah - right, you want to look just like everyone else, don't you?!) - or a portrait that expresses your individuality, showing the unique person that you really are? State of the Art Images lets the real you shine through! Each session is custom designed around who you are, what you like and what you do. One or two weeks before your session, we'll schedule a meeting or phone call (whatever is most convenient for you) to discover the person that you really are, allowing us to get to know you a little better so we can plan for a portrait session that expresses the real you at this exciting time in your life. Clothing Avoid busy patterns, clothes with text or logos (like NIKE™ or GAP™) across the chest. Bring lots of clothes to choose from - that way we have a lot to work with for mixing and matching. We may not use everything you bring, but it's good to have choices. Accessorize! Bring hats, cool shoes, boots, jackets, jewelry, scarves, prom dresses - whatever!! If you’re not sure about something, bring it along just in case. Don’t cut your hair right before your portrait session. Schedule your session at least one to two weeks after your hair cut to give your hair a chance to grow into its new style. Bring lots of props to tell people who you are and what you're into - sports, dance, cheerleading, music and sports equipment - tennis rackets, soccer balls, pom poms, well-worn dance shoes, your guitar or violin or trumpet. We want your pictures to be an expression of who you are and all of these articles are part of your identity. |
