For exterior images you need to pick the right time of day to avoid lighting that is too contrasty, which will result in loss of detail in the shadows and highlights. For interior images, you need to balance the interior lighting with the available sunlight to let the beautiful blue sky and scenery show through the windows while also lighting the interior correctly, which can be a real challenge.
